How to post
Navigate to the ‘Posts’ section in the left hand panel, and select ‘Add New’…You will be then into a screen very similar to what you are seeing now!

For a basic post, click in the body of the page, and you can just start typing here and continue as you please, to jump down and create another paragraph, just hit the character space button on your keyboard
…and here you are! There are other options in terms of formatting if you hover over the text you are typing – You can change the size of your font, amongst other things. It is just like working in other Microsoft / google applications
If you really want, you can just copy and paste from a doc into this area.
Once you have finished with your post, you need to publish it and make sure it has the correct category so that it shows on the correct page of the website…
Below is a screen grab of the right hand control panel, to show the category options ensure that the ‘Post’ section is selected:
Now you will see more options below – Expand the category section, and select the sport of area that the post is reflecting…So if it was Hockey post, select ‘Hockey’, then head back to the top of the page and hit ‘Publish’…This will ensure that you post will be shown on the Hockey page (in this instance).
If you want to show the post on the home page also, select ‘Northern News’ as well as your sports category.
If you wish to add an image to the post, add one by click featured image, and follow the upload instructions:
Once Published, you will see a link confirming at the top of the page.
