The Northern Club Hockey section are delighted to be hosting this exciting event with a focus on talent development of our 13-19 year olds and club coaches.
Michael (Mikey) who was born in Formby and has been on the international playing scene for GB since 2012 is keen to forge a partnership with us as part of his national coaching development work through his creation of ‘The Hockey Lab’.
He will be running small coaching sessions on the day between 1-4:30pm for our 13-19 year olds with support from our own team of fantastic coaches.
At 5pm we’ll also be hosting a fundraiser game and social to end the day allowing our youngsters to play alongside Mikey and our coaches which we hope the rest of our section will enjoy coming to support. BBQ food will be available between 5-7pm from the club. (The format of all activities will be planned inline with government and EHB guidelines for Covid 19 risk management)
Bookings for coaching sessions are £20pp which includes the full afternoon of events and BBQ food. Places are limited and will be based on a first come first served basis. If you are 13-19 and would like a place on the day please confirm on Spond in your Squad area then transfer your payment to the hockey section account to secure your place including your name in the reference.
