The Northern Men’s Bowlers gathered at Garswood Community and Bowling Club in Ashton in Makerfield for their annual away – day on Saturday 29th July.
On a day thankfully blessed by good weather, a great day out was enjoyed by all.
The morning singles competition was won by Alex Anderson with Brian Billington the runner-up. The afternoon doubles match saw Charlie Rice and Peter White triumph over Bob Snaylam and Peter Hollis.
