The Northern Men’s Bowling section held their annual Spooner Shield Merit competition on Saturday 19th August.
Blessed with good weather, a high standard of bowls was enjoyed by all with Bob Snaylam drawing on years of experience to triumph against Albie Balmer in the final, Bob’s third victory in the Spooner Shield.
